Day 166
I did a mile run outside today...lucky for me it was beautiful outside and my bro stayed here while the boys napped!! I shaved 30 seconds off my initial mile (on the treadmill)...did it in 9:19. There's no way I could keep that pace for much further!! I was more than happy to walk the rest of my 30 minutes!

Wow! I think running that first mile is always the hardest! Don't you want to say "eat your heart out Mr. Aldred!" Look at you go now! :)

I seriously think that so often, Jess!! I was NEVER EVER a runner in elementary and high school!! I absolutely dreaded having to do the mile each year and couldn't ever run the whole thing! It actually makes me really proud of myself when I think about it in those terms!! Who would have ever thought that I'd be a runner, yep, I said it...a runner...in my 30s!! :)
